The IU Southeast project was a great opportunity for us to partner with one of our sister campuses in New Albany, IN. We came up with a partnership to join digitize historical artifacts in the Floyd County area. Scanning took place on 5 different sites around the city, Culberston Mansion, Public Library, Carnegie Museum, Padjuett Museum, and the IU Southeast Library with 5 scanned objects for each location. Below is just a few of our results from our partnership, to view the entire collection visit our sketchfab site.
Street Dress: This is a re-creation of William Culberston's wife's dress that she wore around town. This item was 3D scanned in one session, with a Creaform Go Scan 50 in under 2 hours.
